New PATTERNS: Whirlwind Wrap & Tuxita Baby Tunic!

The patterns for my latest designs for Caron and their Simply Soft ad, are now available on their website! Get 'em for free, by clicking on the text links below.

The Whirlwind Wrap is perfect for the gal-on-the-go. It's crocheted using the Bullion Stitch (see how-to video below) and has a buckle embellishment that adds both a little funk, and practicality. Nab the yarn for this project here!

The Tuxita tunic is a versatile layering piece for baby, that's sized for 6 mos-6 years. It's adorable worn as a tank with sandals, over jeans and boots, or with tights and an undershirt. Nab the yarn for this project here!

  3. I got them off of freepeople.com. They show them in black there, but they have both colors. :)

    Vickie,
Just a quick note to say "Thank you". I am a novice but managed to 'whip' up your wrap (in black) for my daughter. Since she participates in medieval fairs, theatre and such activities, we closed it with some antique clasps. She loves it and to me that is all that counts. Thank you for sharing the pattern and for making it accessible even for a novice like me! dwarfy

  5. Oh, that's so great. Thanks for the note. Oh, and please upload a picture of your daughter modeling the wrap to the Caron Flickr group: http://www.flickr.com/cuckooforcaron :)
