I love incorporating yarn into the home in unexpected ways so this week, I be-cozied our ceiling light. We needed a little warmth brought into our too-white dining area, so with the help of a ball of Sheep(ish)--in color, Pumpkin(ish)--I worked up a garter stitch strip, stretched it and hot glued it to an inexpensive drum lamp (after Dave spray painted the hardware silver). I love the organic look of it!

New Sheep(ish) PATTERN: Baby Granny Hat

My latest Sheep(ish) design is up as a free pattern on Caron.com! The Baby Granny Hat for the craft-dexterous--the body of the hat is made from crocheted, granny squares that are sewn together. The band and crown are then knit. This is a great, portable project to work on at the pool this summer. Whip it up now, so it'll be ready for the Fall!
