I love incorporating yarn into the home in unexpected ways so this week, I be-cozied our ceiling light. We needed a little warmth brought into our too-white dining area, so with the help of a ball of Sheep(ish)--in color, Pumpkin(ish)--I worked up a garter stitch strip, stretched it and hot glued it to an inexpensive drum lamp (after Dave spray painted the hardware silver). I love the organic look of it!
How are you incorporating yarn into your home?

Brilliant!
ReplyDeleteBe-cozied is a terrific word! I really want to cover a wall with textured yarn-based wallpaper but haven't tackled the task yet.
ReplyDeleteDoes my dog getting into my yarn stash and draping the living room with my favorite bamboo yarn count? Because it was awful pretty! lol
ReplyDeleteJust found out my daughter is having a boy. Going to JoAnn tomorrow to get some of your yarn and start knitting some sweaters for the little guy.
ReplyDeleteI will post about your great yarn on my blog.
Congratulations! I'm honored that you're new grandson will be wearing something Sheep(ish). :)
