Janis Joplin: Crochet Rocks!

Ok, Smarty Pants.  Clearly, I need to step-up my pop trivia game--the last Pop Goes Crochet contest was WAY too easy for you guys.    The answer to,  "What 60's female "white blues" singer, often rocked a crochet vest?" is of course, Janis Joplin.
